Yoltan Corporation (Pahang) Sdn. Bhd. The experienced and competent bioenergy producer. (YCP) is principally engaged in sawdust briquette manufacturing activities. We are considered as one of the largest briquette charcoal suppliers in the region.

YCP is located in the Temerloh Industrial Park, Pahang, Malaysia. We have been operating since 1995. Currently, the plant has a production capacity of about 700 metric tons per month. The main markets are in Korea and Japan. We have established our market in the Middle East countries and the Biomass (raw briquette) market in EU.

Sawdust briquette charcoal is one of the preferred BBQ fuels in the Korean, Japanese, Turkey, Greece and most indoor BBQ, kebab restaurants. In general 30kg of our sawdust briquette charcoal will be able to serve job for a 50kg of the conventional lump wood charcoal.

Sawdust briquette charcoal is unique due to its high level of fixed carbon, approximately 90%, making it longer lasting with high heat retention capacity. Compared with the usual mangrove wood charcoal, sawdust briquette charcoal does not burn with sparks. It is smokeless and odorless on combustion. Sawdust briquette charcoal is made from 100% tropical mixed wood sawdust without any chemical additive or binder. Unlike coal or coke, direct cooking using our sawdust briquette charcoal is safe as they do not produce poisonous gas or smoke during combustion.

We are exporting 30 x 20’ FCL loads per month of the raw un-carbonized High Density Wood Briquette (HDWB) to EU countries as domestic heating fuels. The demand of the HDWB in EU is fast growing due to the commitment of the EU countries to reduce the Greenhouse gases emission (GHG).
